Data Protection
- SSL/TLS encryption β All data transmitted between your browser and our servers is encrypted using 256-bit SSL/TLS. You will always see the padlock icon in your browser.
- Database encryption β Sensitive data is encrypted at rest in our database.
- Secure password storage β Passwords are hashed using bcrypt with salt. We never store plain-text passwords.
- Session security β Session cookies are HttpOnly and Secure, protected against tampering.
Infrastructure
- UK-based hosting β Our servers are located in the United Kingdom, ensuring your data stays within UK jurisdiction.
- Automated backups β Daily automated backups with point-in-time recovery. Your data is never at risk of being lost.
- Firewalls and DDoS protection β Network-level protection against malicious traffic and denial-of-service attacks.
- Regular security scans β We run automated vulnerability scans and penetration testing.
Access Control
- Multi-tenancy isolation β Each childminder's data is completely separate. No user can access another organisation's data under any circumstances.
- Role-based access β Childminders and parents have entirely separate login systems and permissions.
- Audit logging β We log key actions for accountability and compliance purposes.
Payment Security
All payments are processed securely by Stripe, one of the world's leading payment processors. We never store your full card details on our servers. Stripe is PCI DSS Level 1 certified β the highest level of security certification in the payments industry.
